Discovery Center

Grace loves the Discovery Center. We have a membership, I don't know why we don't go more often! Her favorite..... playing in the water!

Grace in Space!!!!

Second favorite... milking the cows!

Putting the cow's meat in the right places...interesting!

They have a new area, where they have all the stuff to make play pizza complete with Papa Johns boxes. She had a great time doing that... if the older kids would have shared more it would have been better and I would have pictures. Hmmm can't people read 6 and under!! Anyways, she made a sausage pizza and we had "pop" to go with it.

Cherry Valley Days

On saturday, Grace and I went to Cherry Valley Days. We had a blast!! She got to ride rides, eat yummy food and play some games! We rode the ferris wheel and got stuck at the top... We were both pretty scared!
Here she is with the Batman she won. She LOVES Batman, we have to tape all the old school batmas for her. She loves the "mean joker" the most though!
Teacups

Here she is with her finished shelf. Home Depot had things out there for the kids to do. She did awesome, even hammered by herself!

Stop taking pictures so I can eat already!

Here we are on the elephants... we rode those twice!

The bumblebees! I liked seeing her on those!

August

Here are a couple pics of the new house. I haven't taken many, things are still getting the finishing touch! Like the toy room?

Here is the kitchen view from the living room.

Craig's Grandma Carsten had her 85th birthday. Look at this awesome cake, it looks exactly like the barn at her farm!

Kate, Ryan and Grace.

August flew by for us. With unpacking and having a new house.. it has been nuts. And unfortunately, Craig's Aunt Laurie lost her fight with cancer. Grandmas birthday party was a gift for all of us, it was the last family function where Laurie would be.

July... new house, new additions!

Lots happened in July. We were homeless and staying with Craig's parents during our transition to our new home. Our poor little Gracie had to have her tonsils/adneoids out and a tube put in her left ear. She had so much fluid in that ear she couldn't hear. These are both from before the surgery, but isn't she still pitiful?

We went to the brookfield zoo a few days before her surgery. She LOVES the zoo!!

Here is Grace helping us pack.

July was nuts in my book. Between packing, moving, being homeless, Grace's surgery... Oh and the most important news.... We are pregnant!! It was a complete surprise and we didn't find out until I was almost 7 weeks. Baby Ecker will be here the end of January!

June

Grace loves playing with Daddy in the pool. DUNK HIM! Look at me!

Monkey see, monkey do

We went fishing at Rock Cut. There was a kids fishing day. It was awesome. We all three caught a fish.... Grace the biggest.

Look at all the kitty love!

Peanut looks really happy, doesn't she!?

In other news, we sold our house in June. Then the frantic search for a new one begins! We finally found one, in Durand. Move in will be July 22nd.... 2 weeks after we are out of ours.

May... was it really that long ago?

Memorial Day weekend we went to the Madison Zoo. Grace loves the animals and Mommy and Daddy like that it is free!

I love this picture of Grace and Daddy!

The Sonic hot dog at the parade!

Not having any fun at all!!!
